The Tarpon River Civic Association (TRCA) is an organization of Tarpon River Neighborhood homeowners and residents who are committed to improving the quality of life in their neighborhood. The Tarpon River Neighborhood boundaries are the New River on the north and west, Andrews Avenue on the east, and Davie Boulevard on the south. If you live within our boundaries, we encourage you to join the TRCA and participate in our organization. We also welcome residents of other nearby neighborhoods to come to our meetings to discuss issues facing our community.
Monthly Meeting Information
Please join us at our general meetings, which are held on the 4th Thursday every other month (Starting in January - except June & July) at 7:00 p.m.at the South Side Cultural Arts Center on the corner of S. Andrews Ave & SW 7th St. We try to limit our meetings to 90 minutes. There is often a guest speaker addressing local issues of interest/concern to our residents, reminders of upcoming events, status updates to ongoing projects and of current issues and concerns.
TRCA holds several social events each year for the neighbors to mingle and have fun together. We have two Party in the Parks at Lewis Landing, usually in April & November (off meeting months) and a holiday pot luck dinner party in December
