The Tarpon River Civic Association (TRCA) is the official city organization of the Tarpon River Neighborhood. In joining the Association, homeowners and residents of the Tarpon River Neighborhood promote a sense of community and demonstrate their commitment to improving the quality of life in our neighborhood.
The boundaries of the Tarpon River Neighborhood for membership are the New River on the north and west, Andrews Avenue on the east, and Davie Boulevard on the south.
About Us
The TRCA Board of Directors represents our organization as the official voice of our members and the neighborhood to the City of Fort Lauderdale and Broward County.
The more members and member participation we have in our organization, the louder our voice is to the City and County and the better we can represent the interests of residents and our neighborhood. Member participation is vital for the Board to know what issues are important to you and to get your feedback on issues facing our area. We, therefore, encourage you to become a member of TRCA and participate in our organization.
The Association holds regular Board and General Membership meetings throughout the year, the dates and times can be found under the Events tab, along with events that should be of interest to all of us in the Tarpon River area.
Our General Membership Meetings are open to all and include guest speakers addressing issues of interest or concern to our residents, a report from our local Police Officers, and updates of ongoing issues and projects.
The Association also holds social events during the year for our members and residents to meet and have fun together. These can also be found under the “Events” tab of our site.
